 The opening reception for MFA NOW at Root Division was this past Saturday. It was an amazing exhibition. I am proud to be apart of such an exceptional group of artists. Congratulations to my San Jose colleagues Nin Filip, Mark Pinto and Biagio Scarpello who also were in the exhibition. As well as a special thanks to the San Jose cohort for coming and supporting their fellow graduates.  A quick snapshot of the crowd. Regardless of the wet weather we still had a crowd. Please, please, please. If you have not yet seen MFA NOW, come check it out. The exhibition will be up until the 22nd of February. And amidst all the social media uploading during the event, I was informed that my artwork had been featured on Root Division's Instagram.  Also, coming up this week is 2014 MFA Showcase. Kathleen McDonald, a fellow graduate student, has generously coordinated a group exhibition of all the current graduates. Please come check out the show, it starts this week Monday, February 10th and is up until the 15th. Art Building, first floor, Gallery 3.
